#### Education

University of Chicago - BA, Biology#### Experience

I attended the University of Chicago to earn my bachelor's degree in biology. My specific interest in biology is genetics, and I would like to earn a doctoral degree in bioinformatics in the future. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions. Students need to develop the skill of identifying what they know and what they don't so that they can ask questions to fill in the gaps. These gaps are different for every student, but taking them on is a great way to develop as a student. I believe that if students ask questions, put in the effort, and stay determined, they can learn anything. I enjoy science, and I like learning. I believe the best way to learn the subject effectively when it is complex is to focus on the aspects of the subject you like and understand so that you can relate them back to the difficulties. I utilize different approaches with my students to find which teaching modality best matches their learning style. I'm looking forward to helping students learn algebra, physics, geometry, statistics, biology, microbiology, organic chemistry, physics, physiology, and other science and math topics. I also like to help students prepare for the GRE, SAT, and other exams.#### Hobbies
